Disclosures & privacy

Plain-English disclosures about who we are, how this site is funded, and what we do — and do not do — with your information.

Who we are

Georgia Lending is an independent publisher of educational content about mortgages in Georgia. We are not a lender, mortgage broker, or loan originator, and we do not take loan applications, quote interest rates, or make lending decisions. Nothing on this site is an offer to lend.

Not financial advice

All content on this site is educational only and is not financial, legal, or tax advice. Your situation is your own: verify current rates, terms, program requirements, and eligibility with a licensed mortgage professional before making any decision. Program terms, loan limits, and guidelines change over time, and this site may not always reflect the latest changes.

Affiliate disclosure

Some links on this site are affiliate links. If you use one of those links to visit a loan marketplace and end up working with a lender there, Georgia Lending may earn a commission. This costs you nothing extra, and it does not affect the rates or terms a lender offers you. We do not accept payment to rank one lender above another, and any comparison content reflects general educational criteria, not paid placement.

No borrower data collected

This site has no application forms and collects no borrower information — no names, phone numbers, incomes, or Social Security numbers. The mortgage calculator on this site runs entirely in your browser; the numbers you enter are never sent to us or stored anywhere. If you follow a link to a loan marketplace or a lender's website, any information you provide there is governed by that site's own privacy policy, not this one.

External links

This site links to outside sources, including government agencies and loan marketplaces, for reference. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, accuracy, or privacy practices.

Accuracy

We aim for accurate, current educational content, but mortgage programs, limits, and requirements change — sometimes without notice. Where a fact could change, this site says so and points to the official source. If anything here conflicts with what a licensed lender or an official agency says, trust the lender or the agency.
