Plain-English privacy policy: what this site collects, what it does not, and what happens when you use the on-site chat.

What this site collects

Reading the guides on Georgia Lending requires nothing from you. There are no accounts, no sign-up forms, and no newsletter. This site has no loan application forms and collects no borrower information — no incomes, no Social Security numbers, and no loan details. The mortgage calculator on this site runs entirely in your browser; the numbers you enter are never sent to us or stored anywhere.

The only personal information this site collects is what you choose to share in the on-site chat, described below.

The on-site chat assistant

This site has a chat assistant named Samantha, an AI assistant that answers questions about the guides and can arrange a call with Bill. Chatting is entirely optional.

If you chat, only what you type is collected. If you ask Samantha to arrange a call, she may ask for your name, an email address or phone number, what you are interested in, and the best time for Bill to call. That information is emailed to Bill and stored in the site's lead records, and it is used only to follow up with you about your question. Nothing else about you is collected through the chat, and you can read the whole site without ever opening it.

Your chat messages are sent to the AI service that powers the assistant (Google Gemini) so it can reply. The chat keeps your conversation in your browser only while the tab is open, so you can pick up where you left off if the page reloads.

Cookies and tracking

This site itself sets no cookies and runs no analytics, advertising trackers, or third-party tracking scripts. Your visit is not followed around the web by anything on this site.

Hosting

This site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. As with any website, the hosting provider may keep standard server logs (such as which pages were requested) as part of operating the service. Georgia Lending itself does not use those logs to identify individual visitors.

Contact by email

If you email the site at bill@georgialending.com, your email address and message are visible in that correspondence, as with any email you send. That information is used only to reply to you.

Links to other sites

This site currently links to no loan marketplaces or lenders. If links to loan marketplaces are added in future, any information you provide on those sites will be governed by their privacy policies, not this one. See the disclosures page for how this site is funded.

Changes to this policy

If this site's data practices ever change, this page will be updated promptly, and the "last updated" date below will change with it.
